TPM Hall of Fame
The TPM Hall of Fame Awards recognizes outstanding leadership among the Talent Pipeline Management network for an individual, a business-facing organization such as a chamber, a company, an education and training partner, or other member of the talent supply chain.
This award honors talent pipeline partners that are leading the most innovative and impactful talent strategies. Recipients demonstrate the power of collaboration, a focus on shared value, and expertise to improve communities.
Each year at the TPM NLN Summit the committee will announce 1-3 winners for that year’s award to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
There is no fee to submit a nomination. The deadline to apply is August 16. Application can be found below.
- A recipient does not have to be a TPM Academy graduate. For example, nominees could include employer champions, nonprofit partners, a work-based learning coordinator, or an education and training provider.
- The recipient(s)—whether an individual or an organization—must be actively involved in TPM implementation (i.e., part of the talent supply chain network).
- Eligible nominations for the 2024 award must have had some TPM activity between October 2023 and July 2024 (i.e., the time period for nomination evaluation).
- An entity may nominate itself or be nominated by a third party. We welcome nominations that represent a member of the talent supply chain network operating as a solo entity (e.g., a chamber of commerce) or operating with partners (e.g., an employer-led partnership made up of employers and education and training providers). Given the public format of finalist information, third-party nominators should ensure the nominated entity is aware of the application and prepared to participate in awards activities.
- If multiple organizations would like to submit a nomination on behalf of their partnership, they may apply as a group so long as a single point of contact is identified for the application.
- Nominees can be a part of multiple applications. For example, if an education and training provider partner is supporting programming for a healthcare collaborative with one group of partners (e.g., healthcare companies, an economic development agency) and is also supporting programming for an IT collaborative with another set of partners (e.g., IT companies, the regional IT industry association), the provider can be included on both nominations without being disqualified.
- TPM Hall of Fame inductees can only be awarded the honor once. However, if an individual winner (e.g., a host organization facilitator) is part of a future award nomination (e.g., they are a part of a team that is submitting a nomination on behalf of their organization), the new nomination will be considered for induction.
- The nominee is able to go on record publicly about the work or program being showcased.
- There is no fee to submit a nomination.

What makes a strong nomination?
Here are a few tips:
- Provide a clear narrative with a distinct point of view on the work you or the nominee is doing. Be direct and succinct with the challenge you seek to address and why, and how the TPM framework has been used to address the challenge. If external stakeholders helped shape or validate the work, share that — stakeholder engagement is a way to illustrate the thought and strategy behind the work. Telling a well-prepared story can enhance judges’ understanding of your nomination.
- Quantify the quality of the work based on its goals, metrics, and results, particularly in the ways it has contributed solutions for the good of the world. Include all types of resourcing brought to bear — financial, intellectual, employee talent, in-kind, etc.
- State how the work is integrated into the company’s mission and how it adds value back into the company.
- Take time for quality control. Be mindful of the word limitations. Ask others who are not familiar with the work if the nomination narrative is clear.

Do you accept additional support materials?
We do not accept additional support materials until requested in the finalist stage. A strong, well-written nomination should be able to convey the information needed to reach a decision. Please review above “What makes a strong nomination?”
Should a nomination be selected as a finalist, then we will ask for additional materials such as high-res photos and videos (if available).
Can the answers be saved so the nomination can be completed and submitted at a later date?
No, we apologize but you cannot. We suggest that you print out the downloadable nomination form and write out your responses in a Word document that can be saved on your personal device. This also allows you to share the nomination draft with others who may need to review it before submitting the final nomination form. Once you are satisfied with your responses, submit them on the TPM Hall of Fame award webpage.
How is this different from the TPM Peer Review process?
The TPM Verified Talent Supply Chain Manager credential and peer review process can be sought only by TPM Academy graduates with TPM Talent Supply Chain Manager badges. It designates that a TPM Talent Supply Chain Manager is using the TPM framework and methodology in the field and working with employer collaboratives and/or internal employer teams to build talent pipelines. It is only awarded to individuals and is based on meeting a set of competencies associated with the TPM strategies.
The TPM Hall of Fame Award can be presented to any partner participating in talent supply chain efforts.
How is my nomination scored and who are the judges?
Nominations are scored based on a rubric giving more value to the strategic development, execution, and proof of positive impact of the project.
Judges include members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation staff, as well as a small group of TPM practitioners and partners.
When are the TPM Hall of Fame winners named?
The U.S. Chamber Foundation will announce the finalists of the TPM Hall of Fame Awards at the annual TPM National Learning Network Summit, an in-person event at the U.S. Chamber in Washington, DC. The 2024 event is on September 24 and 25.
We ask that all nominees attend the event. If this will pose a problem, please contact the U.S. Chamber Foundation team at TPMsupport@uschamber.org.
Will the U.S. Chamber Foundation provide communications support for the winners?
Yes. The U.S. Chamber Foundation will provide a communications toolkit to help recipients celebrate and amplify their awards status to their stakeholders. The toolkit will contain sample media materials, graphics, social media messaging, and more.
